I was looking for a set that was natural in color and eco friendly. This was perfect! The plates and utensils were durable. Another review mentioned the utensils were tiny…I thought they were just fine. Yes, smaller than what you have in your kitchen, but nothing crazy. Completely functional. Great value too! I’d buy these again.In my opinion they look much nicer than standard white paper plates. I like that they are made of a renewable substance and should be more biodegradable. I would stay they are about as sturdy as thick paper plates (but cooler!). I would give 5 stars if they cost less, but I would buy again.I loved these platesNice but no seal - turns into a wet piece of cardboardThe paper stuff is okay but the plastics are poorly made. Forks are dangerous as they can slice your mouth if you don't check for irregularities. Only worth half what I paid and that's because they are supposed to biodegrade...no proof that they actually do. Would not buy again.These plates are very thick and hold up well. The plate of salmon and veggies that I ate on it did not soak through it and make it soggy. When I was about to get up from eating my dinner to throw my plate away my wife told me that I had a second plate underneath it. I expected the plate underneath it to have gotten wet but it did not. So I was able to put the plate that was underneath my plate back into the pack. We got these to use for the holidays because I was on vacation and home so much. Saved a lot of money on washing dishes and time. What drew me to these places I guess what all of the reviewers pretty much alluded to and that is that they are biodegradable. I'm definitely impressed with the quality of these plates and they hold up well.This is so much better than what I thought. Now, this is exactly as described, but I love the sturdy plates. And as a set, it goes together really well. We were having a BBQ and I needed an all in one set. I needed a set that was disposable, Eco-friendly, completely biodegradable and still very sturdy and not Cheap! These definitely filled the bill and performed wonderfully. Nothing to clean up and happy family members! The two sizes of plates were perfect for lunch and the dessert. The fact that I got 250 pieces means that I can actually do more than one party and I don't have to keep on shopping.I even got some compliments from my guests! The forks, spoons and knives held up really well and no one broke their fork tines!I will buy again!The paper plates were wrapped in plastic, all the other items were plastic. This is not an echo friendly product.Sorry for sharing a bit of a gross photo but wanted to show that these plates worked great for us for pizza! We had an outdoor pizza "party" with a friend and used these plates. They're really sturdy and the grease didn't leak through the bottom. Love that they're compostable. We normally use the chinet plates but were out. This pack comes with two sizes, dinner and dessert, but I'd personally call them lunch and dessert. They're 9 and 7 inch plates. The chinet brand dinner plates are 10 3/8 inch and the lunch are 8 3/4 so definitely more on par with the lunch size (though probably more of an appropriate portion size). Really cool that these are made out of sugarcane!We ran out of the disposable plates we had. So, ordered these new ones off Amazon. Both the dinner plate and the desert plate are strong and work great. We have already used them a couple of times and they have held up pretty well. No leakage. No performance issues. Strong, well built plates. The best part and the reason why we decided to buy these ones is that the plates are biodegradable. So, we won't feel too guilty about using disposable plates. A good set for a good price.I was looking for something sustainable and with a clean environmental impact but still has the same disposability, efficiency & function of plastic but instead this is way better!! it has more function since I can safely use in microwave (can’t with most plastic). These are quality paper plates. Very sturdy. Not like those cheap paper plates that rip or get ruined when using a knife. I will definitely be getting these again!!! Highly recommended!!!I think the cutlery is plastic. The whole reason I bought this is because it was marketed as compostable. I feel super mislead and will be sending back and ordering actually compostable products.Excellent product
